ITECS' Founder and Chief Information Officer, Brian Desmot, established ITECS in 2002, before the term MSP was coined. Initially, ITECS was known as an IT consulting firm, offering services such as computer repair, procurement, and consulting to businesses. Over the years, Brian adapted the company to changes in the IT industry, introducing managed IT services, cybersecurity, and managed cloud hosting.

As one of the first IT consulting firms in Dallas, ITECS has stood the test of time and gained credibility as a trusted MSP serving the broader United States market. Brian continues to lead the company and, with the help of the ITECS leadership team, continues to evolve and shape the company with the goal of becoming the sole IT solutions provider that makes sense.

Brian writes about managed IT strategy, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and practical AI adoption for business — drawing on more than two decades of hands-on experience running an MSP.
