ITECS' Founder and Chief Information Officer, Brian Desmot, established ITECS in 2002, before the term MSP was coined. Initially, ITECS was known as an IT consulting firm, offering services such as computer repair, procurement, and consulting to businesses. Over the years, Brian adapted the company to changes in the IT industry, introducing managed IT services, cybersecurity, and managed cloud hosting. As one of the first IT consulting firms in Dallas, ITECS has stood the test of time and gained credibility as a trusted MSP serving the broader United States market.
I’ve never seen IT as just work; it’s always been my passion. Driven by a deep curiosity and a desire to stay on the cutting edge of technology, I founded ITECS to offer the kind of expert IT services that empower businesses. Drawing on my experience with industry leaders like Deloitte and Touche, GTE, and Primeco, I set out to build a company that delivers not only solutions but also a sense of pride in the work we do for our clients.
Brian Desmot continues to lead the company and, with the help of the ITECS leadership team, continues to evolve and shape the company with the goal of becoming the sole IT solutions provider that makes sense.

Following a career as a self-employed music educator, Marc Dunbar joined the ranks at ITECS as a junior-level technician. Despite a lack of industry experience, he quickly worked his way up the ranks in the company to become the lead IT consultant for ITECS. As the company grew and the need for operational leadership arose, Marc answered the call to become the company's first Director of Services and Operations.
Having the opportunity to join the ITECS team when it was still in its infancy proved to be an exciting time for me in my new career. Not only did I quickly learn the ropes of the MSP industry in a fast-paced environment, I also got to take ownership in the direction of the company as it developed into what it is today.
Today, Marc serves as a key member of the ITECS leadership team, striving to set the company on a path of sustained healthy growth and ever-improving levels of service.
Ryan Burrus
Ryan Burrus is a result-driven Marketing Executive with a strong focus on marketing technology solutions. Throughout his career, he has developed and executed comprehensive marketing strategies that have significantly enhanced brand visibility, driven customer acquisition, and increased market share.
I believe that technology should empower businesses to achieve more, not complicate their operations. My approach is always customer-first, striving to provide solutions that are not only robust and secure but also tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
Currently, Ryan Burrus is leading initiatives at ITECS to market technology solutions in the DFW metro area. Ryan is focused on executing strategies that enhance brand visibility and drive customer acquisition. By leveraging his deep expertise in GTM, Ryan is driving growth and expanding ITECS' market share while ensuring that the marketing efforts are aligned with the evolving needs of our clients.

Over the years, Mike has amassed extensive experience across diverse industries and business sectors. His expertise encompasses operations, sales, finance, and marketing, which he has leveraged to help numerous businesses refine their processes, strengthen their market presence, and drive significant growth.
My journey has been marked by both challenges and successes, and I’ve learned valuable lessons along the way that I continue to leverage for personal and professional growth. I thoroughly enjoy consulting with the entire team at ITECS in Plano, Texas
In this role, Mike collaborates with leadership to develop more efficient processes and innovative marketing and sales strategies. He focuses on optimizing sales processes and training teams to enhance overall performance. His goal is to help ITECS achieve exponential growth while maintaining their White Glove mindset.
