Eagle Oil & Gas has expanded its relationship with ITECS through MSP Elite, bringing technology leadership, private cloud hosting, cybersecurity and everyday IT support into a coordinated program for its Dallas and Wichita Falls offices.

The engagement connects long-term planning with the work of keeping people productive. For a business whose teams handle different responsibilities in two cities, a shared approach to infrastructure and support gives each office a clear route to the people responsible for its technology.

About the client

Eagle is a privately held, independent oil and gas exploration and production company based in Dallas. Through its predecessor organizations, its history spans more than six decades. Its public company profile describes a business that acquires, develops and operates oil and gas properties.

The Dallas office houses exploration, engineering, land and legal departments; accounting and field operations are based in Wichita Falls. Eagle lists its offices at 5949 Sherry Lane, Suite 1850, Dallas, TX 75225, and 2525 Kell Blvd, Suite 510, Wichita Falls, TX 76308. Those distinct responsibilities provide the context for an IT engagement that serves both locations.

The relationship

The move to MSP Elite builds on an established working relationship. It brings the current engagement into a defined service program while keeping technology planning, administration and support connected.

What’s in scope

The engagement combines five areas of responsibility. The service program provides a common structure for leadership, infrastructure and support, with the contracted coverage window defining help desk availability. These responsibilities are connected: a change to a shared system can affect user access, maintenance and the questions that reach the support team. Describing the scope together helps the business understand which parts of its technology operation belong in the engagement.

Help desk availability and security monitoring serve different purposes. Daylight and Extended are the available ITECS help desk windows. Around-the-clock managed detection and response is delivered through our MDR partner; it does not mean a 24/7 ITECS help desk. The engagement’s selected help desk window should be read from the service agreement.

Why it matters

For a business working across two offices, separate responsibilities still depend on shared systems. Bringing hosting, administration and support into one service structure makes the points of responsibility easier to understand. Technology planning can then consider the needs of both locations together, rather than treating each office as a separate decision.

The practical objective is continuity between planning and day-to-day delivery. A technology roadmap is more useful when the teams responsible for implementation and support understand the same priorities. The same structure gives both offices a common place to raise questions about support, hosting and the next technology decision.
