Create a service baseline
Name users, sites, devices, applications, transactions, business impact, expected behavior, time windows, frequency, owner, and acceptance. Distinguish latency, loss, jitter, disconnection, capacity, DNS, authentication, endpoint, and application symptoms.
Map evidence across the path
- Endpoint resource use, software, drivers, configuration, protection, and support state.
- Wireless coverage, interference, association, switching, routing, segmentation, and quality controls.
- DNS, identity, certificates, proxies, inspection, VPN, and remote access.
